Can you tell if a tweet is from a guy or a girl?

Generally, I would think that you or I could figure it out on our own, but now there is a computer program that claims 89% accuracy!

The program analyzes the words we use and already has a list of most commonly used words for women and men.

iPad Offers Games For Your Cat! [VIDEO]

What a scream!  If your cat wasn't already competitive when it comes to chasing down a dangling thread from your skirt or chasing a mouse out of the house ... imagine your cat playing video games on your iPad!!

Like humans, I'm thinking not every cat is techno-savvy.  However, it looks like after just one half enthusiastic round of playing the fishing game, Tiffany the cat, is a winner!

Protect Yourself With ‘The Morning After App’

Summertime is sure to bring a couple of nights out-on-the-town, beach, at the cottage and/or your favorite family campground which means fun in the sun catching up with close friends and family -- perhaps over an adult beverage or two!

I think you know where I'm going with this ... sometimes two drinks turns into three and then choice things are said that you wished you could take back.

A Cell Number That Could Save Your Life!

Has anyone ever followed you while you were driving? I can think of a couple of times that I was seriously sure that someone was tailing me.  At the last turn of my trip -- at the point that I had decided I was going to drive past my destination so as to end the 'hot pursuit' -- the tailer, if you will, turned off and I was safe once again!

Well, a friend of mine just sent me a forwarded e-mail that makes a whole lot of sense, and could save you and I from ever getting into a real jam, if in fact someone is truly pursuing you or me.

Here's the f

New High School Allows Students to Earn College Degree and Land Job with IBM

The IBM International Foundation and the New York City Public Schools have collaborated to create the new Pathways in Technology Early College High School, which will open in September.

Dubbed “P-Tech,” students can earn a standard four-year diploma, or opt to stay for two extra years — after which they’ll graduate with an associate’s degree in computer science from CUNY’s College of Technology (City Tech) for free. They can then continue their studies at City Tech, attend other colleges and apply the credits they’ve already earned, or be considered for employment by IBM’s IT department and at other companies.

Atlantis Safely Lands To End NASA’s Space Shuttle Program! [VIDEO]

As I walked into work today, I stopped in the lobby to watch the big screen coverage of NASA's thirty-year space shuttle program come to an end.

History was made earlier today as Atlantis safely landed in Cape Canaveral, Florida.  Four astronauts took the trip into space to deliver a year's worth of supplies and food to cosmonauts who remain living at the International Space Station.

Netflix Customers Upset About Drastic Price Hikes

I will freely admit that I do not watch TV. And it's totally by choice. I can not force myself to be a slave to the times that networks decide to air their shows. As a result, I've become heavily reliant on NetFlix. While I may not be able to watch the most recent episodes of my favorite shows, I can watch up until the last season, and having Netflix has actually brought me to like a lot of shows that I have never seen before!

If you don't know what Netflix is, it's a DVD-by-mail and digital streaming service. And yesterday, Netflix announced a new pricing structure, and its customers are doing the metaphorical version of booing and throwing popcorn at the screen.
