Grand Rapids Man Saves Son, Loses Everything In Fire

Mark Samp, from Wyoming, is being lauded as a hero this week after he rescued his 6-month-old son from their flame-engulfed home on Wednesday night. Shortly after 9p.m., shortly after his son had been put down and his wife had walked down the street to talk to a neighbor, Samp noticed smoke pouring out of the side door of the home. He was outside on the phone with his mother.

Tonight It Happened For The First Time!

Yup... it did! But it was not what everyone said it would be like for my first time.

She threw up on me!

My daughter let it all out on me for the first time in 9 weeks. My fiance has had the bad end of that more than a few times, but I was lucky.... until now!

Mom Leaves Baby On Roof Of Car – Drives Off – Says It’s Because She Was High

It's becoming more and more obvious to me that not everyone should be allowed to be a parent. In recent months, I've seen two different stories about pregnant women driving drunk, and now, I see this.

According to police in Phoenix, 19-year-old Catalina Clouser drove off early Saturday morning, forgetting that her 5-week-old baby was strapped in his carseat on the roof of the car.

Generous Nine-Year-Old Gives Away Disney Trips to Military Families

Brendan Haas came up with a pretty cool way to give back to military families. Inspired by the famous story of the guy who through a long chain of Craigslist trades was able to turn a paperclip into a house, a nine-year old launched what he called the “Soldier for a Soldier” initiative. Starting with a toy soldier, Haas kept trading up until he amassed $900 worth of Disney gift certificates, airfare and hotel credits.

Drunk, Pregnant Mom Leaves 1-Year-Old In Car Alone While She Gets A Piercing

The more stories like this I read, the more I think that people should have to pass some sort of class in order to become parents. And seriously, what's the deal with all of the drunk, pregnant mom stories lately? This mom, from Houston, may take the prize for the most stupidity.

Saturday Was “Take Our Children To The Park & Leave Them There Day”… What?

I'm shocked I didn't know anything about this holiday sooner! This past Saturday, May 19th, was Take Our Children To The Park... And Leave Them There Day"! Huh?

Well, the day, which was put together by an organization called Free Range Kids, is pretty simple in theory. You take your kids to the park, you leave, they play for a while, and then you go pick them up and bring them home.

Shopping At The Gr8 Parenting Event & Mom 2 Mom Sale!

Being a new parent I get dragged to a lot of things that I would normally not go to. Let's face it, a year ago you would never see me at the Great Parenting Event or any sale that was for mom's. But today I was, as my fiance was so obsessed with heading out to the Devos Place for the dual event to see what type of things she could get for the little one that we already did not have stored away somewhere.
