And I'm happy to reveal my number one song of 2012. The Lumineers quietly made their way onto the music scene this year with their debut single "Ho Hey", and it has landed in the number one spot on my list of the Top 10 Songs of 2012.
December 28, 2012 Of course, "The Hunger Games" was one of the biggest movies of the year. Not only because people have fallen in love with the book series, but also because of the cast, and of course, the soundtrack. My favorite song off of the soundtrack come from none other than Taylor Swift (and features The Civil Wars"), is called "Safe & Sound", and is number 2 on my list of the Top 10 Songs of 2012.
December 28, 2012 Pink's long awaited new album "The Truth About Love" was released in October, and I have been nothing but impressed with it. The debut single "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" was awesome, but the second single from the album, "Try", is probably my favorite song off of "The Truth About Love", and because of that, it's landed at number 3 on my list of the Top 10 Songs of 2012.
December 27, 2012 I have very little rhythm. Actually, I do not know if it's that, as much as I just do not like to dance. Even at the high school dances back when, to the weddings I've mixed at, it's just not in me to dance... in front of people.

Something about their manner of singing, the instruments they play, and the lyrics to their songs moves me in a way that a band hasn't in a long time. And that is why their newest single, "I Will Wait" landed at number 5 on my list of Top 10 Songs of 2012.
