Fatalities Confirmed in Multi-Vehicle Pile Up on I-94 in Van Buren County

UPDATE:  Initial information from Michigan State Police indicated two fatalities. Authorities later confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. 

A multiple vehicle crash has caused I-94 to close in both directions in Van Buren County near Hartford and Watervliet.

According to Fox 17, Michigan State Police believe at least two people are dead following the pile up involving nearly 65 vehicles Sunday afternoon.
