As a kid, I was lucky to be healthy. Getting my tonsils out was the most traumatic it got, and really, I just remember eating lots of popsicles. Good health was, and still kind of is, something I take for granted. Even now, I don't know what I'd do if I got really sick. I can't imagine being a child and having a terminal illness-- the tests and surgeries, the pain, worrying about your parents and siblings. Not to mention missing out on the fun-- the birthday parties, the school trips, even just going outside to play. And when I think about any possible way to help, I don't know where to start. Is there anything that I can do to help these kids? The answer is yes.
