The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has always been against smoking, often using ads and commercials to warn people about the dangers. However, some people think their latest anti-smoking ads may be going a bit too far.
The organization is rolling out a $54 million national media campaign in an effort to prompt smokers to quit and, what some are saying, scare people away from cigarettes.

Visiting my parents for Christmas, I saw church sign in my small town that hit home: "Honk if you love Jesus... Text while driving if you want to meet him." Texting and driving is dangerous... I know that, but even I will admit to the occasional quick text at a red light, or while stuck in traffic. But really, I should quit it-- what is so that important that I can't wait until I get to my destination? It's a terrible habit I need to break.

January 5, 2012 People Magazine is reporting that Actor, Singer, Comedian, and TV/Radio Personality, Nick Cannon has been hospitalized with Kidney failure this week in Aspen, Colorado. Nick, who is married to pop superstar and legend Mariah Carey, and has 6 months old twins is said to be staying positive even though he is in a substantial amount of pain.
