They're new, they're classy, and they're not what you imagine when you think of Goodwill.  Welcome to Blue - A Goodwill Boutique!  After the break check out a sneak peak into the two new Goodwill Boutiques opening downtown this weekend.

Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids will be opening two brand new boutique style stores this weekend in downtown Grand Rapids.  The first will be located on Cherry Street on the East side of town, and the second will be located in the retail incubator, MoDiv.  These two new boutiques will be the first of their kind in the state of Michigan.

The boutiques will feature both new and gently used goods ranging from $10 to about $50 in price.  Most of the goods to be sold were 'cherry-picked' from other West Michigan Goodwills (but don't worry, their are still tons of treasures to find at Goodwills across West Michigan).

“This stuff is going to be the best of the best,” said Jill Wallace, chief of marketing and communications for Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids.  "But you're still shopping for a cause,” said Wallace. Revenue from the boutique will fund job training, placement and employment retention programs in the area, she said. - MLive.com

Both boutiques will open this Saturday.  Oh, and while you are there, be sure to say hello to the lovely and talented assistant manager, Brittainy Kottmer (I'm lucky enough to call her my girlfriend).
