Cars That Can Detect Distracted Drivers

GM is preparing to launch cars that can detect distracted drivers.  Bad news for all of the people who put make up on or return texts at stop lights.

The cars will have sensors that will detect whether you are distracted and could also used to identify car thieves and kids taking their parents car for a joyride.

Many people will most likely have an issue with this and see it as an invasion of privacy.  I would guess that GM would test the market first and decide where to go from there.  Well, I guess at least the streets would be safer.
