Cancer Claims The Life Of America’s First Female VP Candidate!
Growing up, I didn't understand what the big deal was that a woman was running for a political office let alone to be the next Vice President of the United States of America!
Now I get it ... and today we celebrate the life and accomplishments of former vice presidential candidate and congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro. She died Saturday at a Massachusetts hospital where she was receiving treatment for blood cancer.
