A man from Oakland, California has set up a GoFundMe page in an effort to purchase the Michigan town of Hell. The town has been on the market for years.

An enterprising young man by the name of Steve Graham has set up a crowd funding page on GoFundMe in an effort to buy the Livingston County community.

Long the butt of comics and wise asses for freezing over every winter, Graham says he would love to buy the town so he can give it a PR boost.

The business plan?  Get this Village  a combination of good old fashion publicity to help the local economy via meida (sic) attention and resulting tourism, and bumper stickers. Bumper stickers always work.

Graham wants to raise $1 million dollars, to cover the $900,000 price tag and any resultant legal fees, and maybe a few bumper stickers.

And how's it going for Graham so far?

Not so good. He's only raised $100 in three days. One contributor says she is kicking in just to be the first to own a piece of Hell.

Sounds like it's going to be hell to get money for Hell.
