Cabela’s Store Coming To Grandville

This morning Cabela’s announced a new store is coming to Grandville.

The store will be the second Cabela’s to open in Michigan.  The other is in Dundee.

The store will be just east of RiverTown Crossings at 44th and Ivanrest.  It is expected to open in spring of 2013 and will measure about 88,000 square feet.  The Dundee store is 225,000 square feet.

In 2007, talks began about a possible Cabela’s in Walker.  Those plans were eventually put on hold a few years later.

Cabela’s plans to employ about 200 people at the new store, both part and full-time jobs, at the new location.

Here’s more on the new Cabela’s from WZZM.
