Byron Days Is This Weekend

When you have kids it becomes necessary to learn where the best community festivals are.  The good festivals can turn an ordinary weekend into a fun one without running up your gas bill and they have something for all ages.  Byron Days is one of those festivals.

I have 3 kids under 5.  We have been to Byron Days in the past and we will be there again this year.  Except for naptime of course.  For kids, the inflatables and rides are always fun so is the parade at 10am on Saturday.  There are also playsets around town that will not go unnoticed by your kids' inner playset detector.

There's more too, for older kids, teens, adults, athletes, and anyone who likes to have fun.  Here are a few of the highlights.

• 5k run - Saturday at 8:00am
• 3-on-3 basketball tournament + softball tournament - Saturday
• Parade - Saturday at 10:00am
• 4-H Dog Agility Demo - Saturday, noon - 2:00pm
• Fireworks - Saturday at 10:00pm
