It's day three of this seemly unhealthy adventure!

If you want to catch up with what I'm doing, and why, check this out. Actually, you'll need to hit that link because this might not make any sense if you don't know the backstory.

Before I get to today, let's recap what happened between yesterday's update and now.

First, my calorie intake was MUCH lower yesterday compared to Tuesday, I go back to the beer I had on Fat Tuesday, that those pretty much killed the day. I was also able to get my protein levels up higher by the end of the day on Wednesday, without cramming a bunch of carbs down my throat. In other words, the protein I'm not getting for breakfast have been made up later in the day between lunch and dinner. I should add that my lunch and dinner were much healthier than usual yesterday, so that's a win.

On to today!

So far so good. Today was another day where I wake up extra early for class at GRCC. I drank the coffee with butter and coconut oil around 7:30. Like Tuesday morning, I felt awake and alert without the jitters of drinking coffee without food. I made it through class without getting groggy or hungry, made it into work, and didn't really get any cravings until about 1 p.m. I ate one banana and felt perfectly satisfied.

Here's a tip, put some vanilla extract in the blender with the coffee, butter and coconut oil. It turned out REALLY good.

Day Three Verdict

I'm more convinced this could actually help someone lose weight. If you make up for the lost nutrition later in the day, this might not be all that bad. Winning on carbs, winning on calories, winning on energy, feeling better about nutrition compared to the last two days.

I'll keep you posted!
