Bryan Adams is currently on his US tour - The Reckless Tour - and last night (Friday) he made a stop in Grand Rapids at the Van Andel Arena. I had the pleasure of attending with Johnnie Walker (from out sister station, WGRD).

First off, Mr. Adams is a very good-looking man for his age... he's no Uncle Jesse but he's lived the rock style lifestyle and it doesn't seem to have taken a toll on him.

Secondly, I grew up listening to Bryan Adams as a little girl. I remember sitting in the backseat of the car while my parents would have his music playing so I was pretty excited that I had the opportunity to see him, probably not as much as my Mom would have been, though. I was mostly looking forward to seeing him perform certain songs, but in all honesty I didn't expect to enjoy the show as much as I did. He and his band did awesome! And Bryan Adams sounds just as good live as he does on his albums.

The highlight of the evening had to be when he chose a woman from the audience to dance while he sang "If Ya Wanna Be Bad, Ya Gotta Be Good." Props to Margie for doing her thing and shaking what her momma gave her! Honestly, I could NEVER do anything like that LOLL I would be mortified. But then again that's why I wasn't chosen to dance haha! Another highlight was getting the chance to photobomb the couple sitting in front of me! YES! I hope they don't edit Johnnie and I out lol

Overall, the concert was great and I'm very happy that I went. Only downside is that he didn't perform "Heaven" or some of the other songs I was looking forward to. And since I woke up this morning I've had "Please Forgive Me" stuck in my head. I'm listening and singing the song as I type this post (multitasking win!)
