Brawl Ensues Over Nutella Waffles at Costco

Costco is one of the greatest stores. You can literally find anything and everything at Costco... and at bulk! But let's not kid ourselves here, the main reason we go to Costco is for the free samples.

Normal, everyday people turn into vultures when it comes to free samples! I've seen crowds of people, and their carts, huddled around the free sample table as if they are wild animals waiting for a bite at their prey.

A Costco in California was giving out samples of Nutella Waffles (let that sink in for a moment....), when everything went from sweet to sour. According to the Los Angeles Times, a 78-year-old man reached to get a sample for himself when a 24-year-old man came up from behind and snatched all the rest. The elderly gentlemen confronted the man telling him he shouldn't take so many samples and that's when he got punched in the face!

The man was hospitalized with a one-inch cut and swelling above his left eye."

The suspect was arrested and faces one count of elder abuse. If convicted, he can face up to 11 years in prison.

I understand the love people have for Nutella but even that isn't worth throwing your life away over!
