A 13-year-old boy with autism saved his classmate's life, after learning the Heimlich on SpongeBob.

This is one child you want in your child's seventh-grade class!

NBC New York reports a story about Brandon Williams who was eating in his school's lunchroom last week. Brandon noticed his classmate, Jessica Pellegrino, was choking on her lunch.

That's when Brandon sprung into action! He was able to perform the Heimlich, and she spit out the apple.

When asked how he knew what to do, Brandon said he saw it on SpongeBob.

Brandon's classmates through a party for him to celebrate his quick thinking, and when asked about receiving a medal, Brandon said he doesn't need one.

Talk about a true hero!
