According to WOODTV, a press release from the city stated that a water main broke along Winchell between Tipperary and Oakland which caused water pressure to drop, leading to the boil water order.

Residents are advised to boil their water for two minutes before drinking.

Officials have been running tests to see if there is any bacteria in the water and so far those test have not confirmed any contamination.  They will continue to run tests and let the public know as soon as the boil water order has been lifted.
