‘Blades of Glory’ Lives On In Kalamazoo [Video]

The movie 'Blades of Glory' was supposed to be a satirical send up of the figure skating community, but thanks to two guys at the National Championships in Kalamazoo last weekend, the fabled 'Fire and Ice' routine from the film lives on in.

A couple of competitors at the 2016 US Synchronized Skating Championships in Kalamazoo took their fandom to a new level by reinterpreting the classic "Fire and Ice".

Dean Copely and Tim McKernan dressed up as characters Chazz Michael Michaels (played by Will Farrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) and copied the routine right down to the music. Unfortunately, it wasn't part of the actual competition, but it should have been.
