Bill Cosby Invites Memes…and it Backfires!
Bill Cosby tweeted a picture of himself Monday with the saying "Go ahead. Meme me!" and people did, just not exactly how Cosby intended.
The post contained a link to a to a meme generator which Twitter users immediately jumped on. They did not, however, create humorous memes using the face of Bill Cosby.
Instead Twitter users used the Meme to resurface rape allegations against Cosby that came up 20 years ago.
This lead Cosby to delete the meme generator and the tweet.
Nice try Cosby, but you can't control Twitter users.
