Kent County detectives in an unmarked vehicle spotted the suspect and called GRPD, asking for Grand Rapids units to conduct a traffic stop. Police arrested the suspect and one of the three other people who were in his car. That second person's connection to the case wasn't immediately specified.

Investigators say the suspect was taken to a hospital, because of something he ingested.
