We all love selfies, whether we admit it or not.

But there might be some bad news for guys who love taking selfies.

A study out of The Ohio State University asked 800 men between the ages of 18 and 40 to respond to a digital survey about social media use and anti-social behavior. The results found that men who take a lot of selfies display higher than average psychopathic tendencies, while those editing their photos before uploading are more self-objectifying" yikes

It was led by researcher Jesse Fox, who said:

We know that self-objectification leads to a lot of terrible things, like depression and eating disorders in women…
With the growing use of social networks, everyone is more concerned with their appearance. That means self-objectification may become a bigger problem for men.

Now before you start freaking out thinking the guy your dating is a cold blooded killer the study notes all personalities were within the range of normal behavior, and that just because your guy may have elevated psychopathic traits don’t necessarily make them the next Ted Bundy.

Good news also coming from this study, especially for women, is that it proves men can obsess about their body and looks just as much as women do!
