BaCon: A Bacon & Beer Celebration Sizzles Nov. 8 at The DeltaPlex

This is the weekend that BaCon: A Bacon & Beer Celebration returns.

The bacon-infused celebration is Saturday at The DeltaPlex Arena & Conference Center.

BaCon features all things bacon: dishes, drinks and, of course, desserts. Tickets are still available.

Nearly two dozen restaurants and breweries from across Michigan and the U.S. are taking part in the event, which is sponsored by Ravenna-based Creswick Farms.

BaCon is 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday at The DeltaPlex, 2500 Turner Avenue NW in Grand Rapids.

A $20 package yields four drink tickets and six food tickets. A $40 VIP package yields eight drink tickets, 12 food tickets and a souvenir BaCon apron.

Tickets can be purchased at The DeltaPlex box office, 2500 Turner Avenue NW in Grand Rapids, or online.

Any ticket buyers bringing a Kids' Food Basket donation item to The DeltaPlex's box office get a $3 discount.

Five Epic Meal Time Bacony Delicious Dishes

With more than 600 million views in weekly webisodes and more than 6.6 million YouTube subscribers to date, Harley Morenstein, a.k.a. the “Sauce Boss,” and his all-Canadian Epic Meal Time kitchen crew are YouTube cooking sensations.

They are now on FYI TV with their new show "Epic Meal Empire." "Epic Meal Empire" airs Saturdays at 10 p.m. EST on FYI, with a Thanksgiving special airing 10 p.m. Nov. 14.

In addition, Morenstein and Josh Elkin, a.k.a. "Epic Mook," wrote the "Epic Meal Time Cookbook -- You Did This." In their own words: "Does a six-patty burger buried under a mound of bacon have your mouth watering?"

So, in the spirit of celebrating both BaCon and "Epic Meal Empire," here's five Epic Meal Time bacon-infused dishes.

Sausage Fest
As Morenstein says: "We get tons of liquor, bacon, meat grinder, sausage casings and friends. This sounds like a sausage fest; but when we do a sausage fest, no dudes allowed!"

84 Egg Sandwich
An 84-egg sandwich and a blueberry muffin. As Morenstein says: "We combine the powers of 84 eggs, 10 pounds of bacon, endless amounts of sausage, cheese and some liquor! This is how we do breakfast, player!"

Bacon Tree
This takes the holidays to the next level with a Christmas tree, 2,000 plus bacon strips and some fast food! As Morenstein says: "Where you at you Grinch ass bitch?! Spread some holiday cheer! Stop being a holiday Scrooge and get in on this holiday fast with this bacon-licker fixture."

Breakfast Fortress
The Breakfast Fortress is a breakfast of booze. In Morenstein's words, it's "getting drunk off pancakes" with "candied bacon. It's like dog treats for human beings."
