Backstreet's back, alright!

Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson and Howie Dorough made an exciting announcement this morning on 'Good Morning America' -- the band is extending its world tour and coming back to North America this spring!

The additional dates will kick off May 3 in Moncton, New Brunswick, and will continue across Canada through May 20 in Vancouver.

The Boys will then embark on a cross-country U.S. leg, including June 17 at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston. The U.S. trek starts May 22 in Seattle and also includes Los Angeles, Chicago and New York before concluding in Wantagh, N.Y. at the iconic Jones Beach Theater on June 22.

More dates are expected to be added.

This extension of the In a World Like This tour will be supported by Avril Lavigne, which the guys are super stoked about.

"We really wanted to put together a great show and do our best to give everyone their money's worth," Littrell stated. "Avril is an unbelievably talented artist who's a perfect fit to make these shows extra special for our fans."
