Awkward Robbery Caught On Video [Video]

A man robbed an elderly woman on an elevator, and ended up getting stuck on the elevator with her.

This is scary, but also really awkward. This guy in Florida robbed this woman of her purse last week. The entire incident happened on an elevator, but when the genius thief tried to take off with her purse he didn't realize the door to the elevator had shut, so he smacked his face right into it.

The level of awkward increases when the elevator starts going to the next floor, trapping the criminal with the woman. Eventually the doors open again and he got away.

Police released the video not only show the stupidity, but to catch the elevator thief.
