Three West Michigan Public High Schools Ranked Among Top In The Country

U.S. News & World Report released their annual rankings of our nation's top schools last week.

Michigan's results include the fifth ranked high school in the country and a good showing from a few West Michigan area schools.

Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts will be here soon.  The 43rd annual event runs June 1 - June 3 and features hundreds of artists, live music, kids activities, 30 food booths and much more.

Today, Festival of the Arts organizers revealed the official poster for 2012.

Flash Mob At Holland’s Tulip Time Parade [VIDEO]

The Tulip Time Festival wrapped up today in Holland.  It turns out the lack of tulips wasn't the only thing out of the ordinary on the festival's final day.  A flash mob entertained the crowd at Saturday's parade.

West Michigan Election Results

Tuesday brought numerous elections across West Michigan.  Grand Rapids Community College's request for nearly $100 million was one of many proposed millages.

Schools also on Tuesday's ballot include:  Allendale, Coopersville, Grand Haven, Grandville, Holland, Hudsonville, Lowell, Northview, Spring Lake, West Ottawa, and more.

ArtPrize revealed their 2012 poster Monday night at LaFontsee Gallery on Lake Drive.  The poster has been receiving strongly mixed reviews.

Free College Tuition For All Michigan High School Graduates?

A new proposal in Lansing would offer free college tuition to all Michigan high school graduates.

Graduates would have to attend a state college or university.  The proposal is estimated to cost $1.8 billion the first year.
