Jimmy Kimmel’s Hilariously Foul-Mouthed Aunt Chippy Teaches Us How to Wrap a Gift [VIDEO]
‘Tis the season for waiting until the last minute to buy a gajillion gifts for your family and then wrapping them all in about 20 minutes at 3 a.m. on Christmas morning.
So Jimmy Kimmel’s very helpful – and awesomely foul-mouthed – Aunt Chippy was kind enough to provide us all with some handy gift-wrapping tips to ensure our presents always look pretty. Only things don’t go exactly as planned.
Yeah, the video is a year old, but so what? The sentiments within are timeless.
Aunt Chippy’s oh-so-helpful heart is in the right place, but she’s apparently not so good with the process of shooting a “how to†video. Seems she needs to add patience to her holiday wish list.
With every interruption from the director, she gets a little more frustrated with the process (not unlike our frustration with the wrapping process itself).
She’s upset that she’s wrapping an empty box and can’t steal the gift. She’s given tape that won’t tear and scissors that won’t cut, but then she turns it around into a learning moment, telling the audience wisely, “Don’t let this happen to you.â€
The director keeps cutting – even though the scissors won’t. And her ire grows.
The whole thing falls apart as Aunt Chippy finally yells, “WRAP YOUR OWN F—ING PRESENTS. MERRY
F—ING CHRISTMAS. I’M OUTTA HERE.â€
