Astronaut Tweets Photo Of Grand Rapids From Space

Twitter

Twitter is the new favorite social media platform of astronauts, it seems, and that worked out well for Grand Rapids this mornign. Commander Chris Hadfield tweeted a generally unseen view of Grand Rapids a night – the view from outer space!

Commander Hadfield is a Canadian, and has been snapping photos of various places from his vantage points and posting them to Twitter. His shot of Grand Rapids (seemingly taken at night) gives us a great view of Downtown GR “with the lights on, from 300 miles up”.

This just proves that Grand Rapids is a beautiful place, even from space.
