ArtPrize Winner Announced

38,811 people registered to vote in ArtPrize.  383,106 total votes were placed.  Now, we have a winner and another full weekend to go see all of ArtPrize in Grand Rapids.

Here's last night's top 3.

• First Place - Mia Tavonatti's "Crucifixion" at DeVos Place. ($250,000)
• Second Place - Tracy Van Duinen "Metaphorest" at WMCAT. ($100,000)
• Third Place - Lynda Cole "Rain" at Grand Rapids Public Museum. ($50,000)

Bigger is still better at ArtPrize.  Better at getting votes, that is.

This year's top ten was disappointing for the most part, but these three were some of the best out of that top ten.
