If you haven't heard about April the Giraffe, you probably don't have Facebook because that's all anyone has been seeing in their feed for the last several weeks.  But just in case you don't know who April is, she is a pregnant giraffe at the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York who has a live cam archiving her pregnancy.

Many people have started to become a little bit suspect about whether or not April is actually pregnant because this cam has been running for months with zookeepers saying that the baby calf should be born anytime now.  It's also a little weird that the giraffe's name is April and April Fool's Day is right around the corner.

So we want to know if you think that this whole pregnancy is a hoax or if it's real.

But before you answer our poll, Curtis found a few facts about giraffe pregnancies that might help you make your choice.

  • Giraffes have a gestation period of 13-15 months, and that's a huge window to have a baby.
  • Giraffes hide their pregnancy very well so predators don't know a vulnerable calf is on the way.
