UPDATE (10 a.m.): WNEM reports that both children were found safe in the backseat of the car. Police are still searching for the suspect.

An Amber Alert has been issued for two children who were inside of a vehicle that was stolen from a gas station in Burton, Mich. (a suburb of Flint) Wednesday morning.

2-year-old Ariana Buing, and 9-month-old Lincoln Buning were inside of the Monte Carlo when it was stolen from an Admiral gas station around 7 a.m. The children's mother went inside the store to make a purchase, and left the children in the car.

The vehicle is described as a 2000 dark blue Monte Carlo with tinted windows. The vehicle's license plate is DKZ4121.

WNEM reports that Ariana has shoulder-length brown hair that is in a ponytail and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink coat, purple pants and blue snow boats.

Lincoln has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing footie pajamas with trucks on them.

The suspect has been described as a black man wearing a red sweatshirt.
