A retired teacher from Sussex recently committed suicide at a clinic in Switzerland because of modern life.

The 89 year-old former teacher had become disappointed at the increasing technology and lack of humanity of modern life.  In an interview she gave days before her death she expressed how she could not understand why people would spend so much time in front of the computer or television.  She was also disappointed at the mass amounts of ready made meals available at supermarkets.  She said the only thing that gave her pleasure was feeding the birds in her garden.

This will most likely spark a right to live debate in Britain.
