‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Breaks Box Office Records
"Fifty Shades of Grey" dominated the box office this weekend, bringing in $81.7 million in its first three days of its release.
That's the best Presidents' Day opening weekend of all time, the second-biggest February debut ever and the fourth-biggest R-rated debut in history.
The only other big release this weekend was the spy thriller "Kingsman: The Secret Service," which debuted in second place with $35.6 million.

- "Paddington," $4.15 million. Up to $62.3 million in its fifth week.
- "The Imitation Game," $3.5 million. Up to $79.7 million in its 12th week.
- "The Wedding Ringer," $3.4 million. Up to $59.7 million in its fifth week.
- "Project Almanac," $2.7 million. Up to $19.6 million in its third week.
