21-Foot Wave Recorded West Of Holland [VIDEO]

Surf's up...on Lake Michigan.

Friday's winds brought both big waves and crazy surfers to the beach on Lake Michigan.  It brought even bigger waves to the middle of the lake, including one recorded at 21-feet.

WZZM reports:

A 21-foot wave was recorded by a buoy in the middle of Lake Michigan west of Holland, and strong winds were seen around Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Winds gusting up to about 70 mph were reported in the Upper Peninsula.
