The Flint water crisis has been at the forefront of the news in Michigan for the last 3 years.  Lead in the drinking water in Flint is below the legal limit of 15 parts per billion (Flint is currently at 7ppb).

Since the Flint water crisis began in 2014, there has been monitoring of water systems throughout the state.  Listed below are locations in Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, Barry, and Ionia Counties that have equal to or higher lead levels than Flint.  The monitoring periods for the water systems took place during different time periods from 2014-2017.  The monitoring period is listed next to the parts per billion for each water system.
